Examination of precious, semi-precious and decorative stones is conducted by the State Gemological Center of Ukraine and can be ordered by phisical and juridical persons.
The main purpose of the examination is to provide an independent and objective information about your stones:
instrumental diagnostics of stones, including determination of their origin (natural or synthetic);
identification of imitations and simulants;
determination of quality characteristics of stones;
identification of decorative rocks by their petrographic composition and determination of their place of origin as specific deposit at the territory of Ukraine;
forecasting of the cost of stones as being jewellery and other items, raw material, collection and museum exhibits, etc;
evaluation of the forecasting cost of stones and valuables.
The examination is conducted by the experienced professionals with special qualification graduated from the leading gemmological centers of Western Europe who have everyday practice of examination.
The examination is conducted with the help of instrumental methods and modern gemmological equipment.
By results of the examination a Certificate is issued on special protected forms of strict accounting approved by the Ministry of Finance.
Gemmological laboratory provides examination services every day.
